Our Governing Committees & Documents

School Site Council (SSC): Our School Site Council is a group of dedicated parents, teachers, students, and community members who play a crucial role in shaping our school's future. The SSC is responsible for developing, monitoring, and revising the Comprehensive School Plan (CSP) to ensure that it aligns with our school's goals and needs. This dedicated team meets regularly to discuss, evaluate, and make decisions regarding important aspects of our school's academic program and budget. We value the input and involvement of all stakeholders, as it contributes to the overall success of our school.

English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC): At our school, we celebrate the diversity of our student body, and we understand the unique needs of English learners and their families. ELAC is a committee composed of parents, teachers, and community members who work together to support English learners and ensure that their needs are met. ELAC plays a vital role in advising the school on matters related to language acquisition programs and services, ensuring equitable opportunities for every student, and promoting family engagement.
Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA): The Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) is a comprehensive document that is developed with School Site Council and outlines our school's goals, strategies, and action plans to improve student achievement. It is a dynamic blueprint designed to guide us in enhancing educational opportunities and addressing areas of improvement. The SPSA is a product of collaborative efforts, including the SSC and other stakeholders, and it reflects our commitment to providing high-quality education for all students.
Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC): Our school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), a recognized accrediting body. The WASC accreditation process is a rigorous evaluation of our school's programs and operations to ensure that we maintain high standards of educational quality. This process helps us identify areas for growth and improvement, ultimately benefiting our students and their educational experience.
As we continue to strive for excellence in education, we are proud to have these critical components - the School Site Council, English Learner Advisory Committee, SPSA, and WASC accreditation - in place to guide and support our efforts. We encourage all members of our school community to get involved, participate in meetings, and stay informed about our progress. Together, we can create a brighter future for our students and empower them to achieve their full potential. Thank you for your continued support and commitment to our school's success.
