Academy of Music

OVERVIEW

The Legacy Visual and Performing Arts High School Academy of Music hosts several performing groups, and performance and non-performance-based classes in both instrumental and vocal music. Performing groups are active on and off campus participating in several concerts, shows, festivals, and tours or trips each year. Special events include audio and video recording projects and special concerts. Groups include concert band, marching band, jazz band, orchestra, mariachi ensemble, chorus, jazz choir, and show choir. Classes include all levels of instrument instruction, harmony, AP Music Theory, Piano/Music Technology, and Songwriting/Writing for Musicals.
